Job Description

Our client, a leading player in the medical device industry, is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team. As a Quality Engineer, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team supporting quality assurance initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, an inquisitive mindset, and excellent problem-solving abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quality Engineer

Location: Brookings, SD

Pay Range: $20 to $26 per hour on W2
Duration :12 month contract 

What's the Job?

• Conduct non-conformance investigations and perform root cause analysis.
• Prepare for future FDA audits and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with a large team of quality engineers and other departments.
• Document findings and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Utilize root cause investigation tools and methodologies to enhance product quality.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science; Master’s degree is also acceptable.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, including school or lab work-study.
• Quality engineering background with a focus on investigations and analysis.
• Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with Oracle quality systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of ISO 13485 is preferred but not required.
