Job Description
As a Windshield Rock Chip Repair Salesman, you will be responsible for promoting and selling windshield repair services to customers with chipped or cracked windshields. You will operate primarily in a field sales capacity, engaging with customers at car dealerships in the service drive. Your goal will be to educate customers about the benefits of repairing windshield damage promptly and to effectively sell our services.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Customer Engagement:** Approach customers with damaged windshields in a friendly and professional manner, offering to inspect their windshield and provide a solution.
2. ** Educate on Benefits: Clearly articulate the advantages of repairing windshield chips and cracks to prevent further damage, maintain structural integrity, and ensure driver safety. (We can teach you all the ins and outs)
3. ** Conduct Assessments: Perform thorough inspections of damaged windshields to evaluate the extent of the damage and determine the appropriate repair method.
4. **Provide Quotes:** Offer transparent and competitive pricing for windshield repair services based on the severity of the damage and the complexity of the repair.
5. **Close Sales:** Utilize effective sales techniques to persuade customers to proceed with the windshield repair service, addressing any concerns or objections they may have.
6. **Schedule Appointments:** Coordinate with customers to schedule convenient appointments for windshield repairs, ensuring timely service delivery.
7. **Maintain Records:** Keep accurate records of customer interactions, sales transactions, and service appointments for reporting and follow-up purposes.
8. **Collaborate with Team:** Work closely with other members of our team to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of services.
9. **Adhere to Policies:** Follow company policies and procedures regarding pricing, service standards, safety protocols, and ethical conduct at all times.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in sales, preferably in the automotive or service industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport with customers and effectively convey technical information.
- Demonstrated sales acumen and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to different locations.
- Familiarity with windshield repair techniques and materials (preferred but not required).
- Ability to perform rock chip repairs (we can train you).
