Job Description

Amazon seeks an experienced Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) with demonstrated success in delivering enterprise-scale technical initiatives. This role leads privacy and accessibility programs for D&S products enhanced by Alexa+, coordinating across multiple engineering organizations developing AI technologies. The position requires strong program management skills and the ability to adapt to rapidly evolving AI technologies.

Key job responsibilities
- Execute large-scale programs across organizations developing AI technologies
- Deliver privacy and accessibility innovations for D&S products utilizing Alexa+
- Manage technical interdependencies between multiple AI development teams
- Establish privacy and accessibility standards across AI implementations
- Define technical requirements for AI features supporting privacy and accessibility
- Orchestrate release schedules across multiple development organizations
- Direct architectural planning for integrated AI capabilities
- Implement privacy and accessibility standards in AI development
- Create scalable processes for team efficiency
- Drive continuous improvement in program execution
- Establish best practices for project planning and risk assessment
- Develop comprehensive documentation frameworks
- Lead cross-functional teams through rapid technology evolution

About the team
The Privacy & Accessibility Innovation team drives advancements across Amazon Devices & Services (D&S) products that utilize Alexa+. Our mission focuses on maintaining trust as the foundation while ensuring universal access as AI technology evolves. Our team develops essential privacy safeguards and accessibility features that serve millions of customers globally.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 8+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
- - Understanding of AI architecture and integration patterns
- - Expertise in privacy regulations and accessibility standards
- - Ability to drive technical decisions across teams
- - Advanced program management capabilities
- - Experience defining technical metrics
- - Track record of process optimization
- - Experience with rapid technology adoption

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
