Urban Outfitters is looking for a Social Media intern to join us for the Summer. As a Social Media Marketing Intern, you'll support the day-to-day operations of the social media team, helping to keep campaigns organized, content flowing, and insights up to date. You'll also assist with trend tracking and audience research to help the team stay ahead of what's next in culture and content.
Each summer URBN Inc. welcomes candidates from across the country to immerse themselves within various teams across our portfolio of brands and gain hands-on learning experience in the area of business which they choose to pursue. Our paid internship program also offers a summer full of intern focused events including exposure to our senior leadership across the business in small group settings, insight into company initiatives, off-site field trips & for those qualified a chance to interview for a full-time job opportunity. The URBN 2026 Summer Internship Program will run from 6/1 through 8/7 at our Home Office in Philadelphia, PA.
Assist with scheduling and organizing content calendars across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.).
Help coordinate content approvals, asset management, and internal communications.
Monitor social media channels for engagement, trends, and community feedback.
Conduct research on emerging social trends, creators, and cultural moments relevant to the UO audience.
Support the preparation of performance reports and analytics summaries.
Assist with influencer tracking, outreach documentation, and campaign recaps.
Take notes during team meetings and help maintain project timelines and task lists.
Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field.
Passion for social media, digital storytelling, and youth culture.
Familiarity with major platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest) and their features.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office; experience with social media tools (e.g., Later, Sprout Social, or Canva) is a plus.
Clear communicator with a collaborative, proactive mindset.
Project Requirement:

Create a marketing campaign concept board focused on Fall 2026 featuring tears of images (still life styling, editorial, artistic, branding, etc.) that you find aspirational for the brand's creative direction and could be used as a potential collective campaign idea across email, digital and social platforms.
You may use visuals from blogs, Instagram, magazines, etc. to show your point of view but be sure to think like a marketer when pulling your aspirational tears and compiling the concept board.
Be sure to include 2-3 influencers you could see as partners with this Fall 2026 campaign and why you think they would be great fits with our brand.
