She is the dreamer behind Just Cakes Bakeshop. She’s a baker, pastry chef, cake artist, and entrepreneur. She has won numerous awards for her mastery of cake, such as Van Foodster’s “Best Cake Challenge”, Food Network Canada’s “Big Bake Championship” title, Surrey Board of Trade’s Top 25 Under 25, and “Young Entrepreneur of the Year”. She was also nominated for a Women of Distinction in BC award!
Fatima Rasheed

She is responsible for overseeing the flagship, Trade Accelerator Program in B.C, connecting businesses with top industry experts and equips them with the tools and resources to find success as they grow their business internationally. Before devoting her time to VMW, Fatima has served on the advisory committee for the GVBOT Leaders of Tomorrow Program and mentored with the Langara School of Management’s Co-op Department.
Joslyn Young

Raised in Abbotsford and also near Seattle, Young graduated from the KPU journalism program in 1998, dabbling in that profession before venturing into the non-profit world. Work followed with the Union of BC Municipalities, Canadian National Railway (CN) and, most recently, external relations for the Port of Vancouver. Since 2018 she’s been a member of the chamber/board of trade network, serving as SBOT vice-chair for a time before stepping down to pursue the CEO role.

A respected community leader, social innovator, and technology professional who has lived in British Columbia for over a decade. He serves as President of the Yoruba Social and Cultural Association of BC, leading programs that promote cultural preservation, youth empowerment, and community development. As a Board Member and Advisor to several organizations, Adebola champions digital literacy, entrepreneurship, and social inclusion across communities.
